With the upcoming New Year, I am anxious to see the latest eLearning innovations. We have learned with MOOCs how students learn and react to content, and how infusing game elements assist with motivation and engagement. Now that we have this data, are we really ready to apply it? As education shifts from seat time to a more competency based model, we need to prepare for the ride as educators. To me, this is one of the biggest challenges educators face...evolving. I strive to do my best in 2014, as always, in embracing change and learning new things.
